Why should I try speed dating?

Fed up with online dating? being ghosted, catfished or  endless first chats. Then speed dating is a great alternative! See if there is a spark in person, no hiding behind a screen and see if you like each other in real life. Speed dating is a controlled environment where you can date safely.

Will this be a private event?

Yes, the venue will only be open for our speed dating evening and the bar will be open for the event. Drinks will be available before, during and after.

What to expect on the night?

Arrive at or before 7pm to register yourself and grab a drink at the bar. Women will be seated with men rotating accordingly. The atmosphere will be relaxed and casual.

Smart, casual attire is advised. Whilst it is not a fashion show it is a great chance to make a good first impression, so dress for comfort and confidence!

Yes, this event is catered for 35-55 only. We are hoping to do future events with different age ranges. We ask you only attend within this limit to ensure it is fair for all attendees.

The pub has been specifically chosen for its country vibe and atmosphere. With its cozy log fire it makes a romantic setting for your dates. However, it is in a rural location and transport is via car.

Will there be a break?

Yes, there will be a chance to grab a drink and use the restroom at the halfway point.

How long will I get with each person?

Approximately 5 minutes per date

How do I pick my matches?

You will be given a dating card with the details of your dates. You can make notes and choose if you wish to see them again.

What happens about my results?

If you select no matches, then no details will be provided don't worry. If you hopefully find a match we will provide your details given to us and visa versa so you can connect at your own leisure. We will not reveal any details given to us outside of the matching process.

How long will my results take?

We aim to get all results back within 48 hours. The quicker you respond the quicker the process will be, so please return your matches or non matches back to us as soon as you can. The deadline for matches will be 6pm on 28th November 2025.

Contact details you provide will be kept under strict GDPR guidelines. Once matches have been made and contacted, all details will be destroyed. We will only ask for email addresses to put people in touch with each other if matches are made. All data will be destroyed within GDPR guidelines.

Don't worry that is natural, everyone will be feeling the same as you at first. Once you have been warmly welcomed by our hosts you will soon settle into the evening and have a great night. Remember to just be yourself and enjoy!

Unfortunately there will not be refunds issued if you cannot attend even with prior notice. The only refund that will be given is if we have to cancel the event.
