North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department

The NDPRD is the state agency charged with administering selected parks and recreation areas that are deemed to have statewide or regional significance. In addition, the department has responsibility for the following functions: off-highway vehicle planning and safety programs, snowmobile safety programs and trails, Nature Preserves Act, outdoor recreation grants and statewide recreation planning, and State Scenic Byways Program.

North Dakota Recreation & Park Association

NDRPA is a membership organization dedicated to advancing parks, recreation and conservation for an enhanced quality of life in North Dakota. Member services consist of training including an annual conference, a quarterly magazine and monthly e-updates, an awards program, advocacy and public policy, technical assistance, and networking opportunities.
