Event description

Description

All young adults in their 20s and 30s are welcome to attend our Norfolk County Catholics monthly meeting on Thursday, June 7th @ 7pm at St. Mary Parish of Walpole (Parish Hall).

NOTE: The parish hall is across the street from the church.

Theme: The Meaninglessness of Life Without God

"... Through Ecclesiastes we realize the shortness of human life, the smallness of our work, the insignificance of our lives without God... there are many pursuits in human life that are not worth investing our time and energy in. Rather, we should seek God and keep his commandments. For money, pleasure and knowledge are merely necessary things along the path of life, but God is the goal of the journey."

Try reading Chapters 1-4 of Ecclesiates and praying on the Word before our meeting! We will open the discussion for all to share how the Scriptures relate to our own"young adult" lives. Together we will see the similarities of the "teacher's" observations to modern day life and how we must turn to God if we are truly seeking a meaningful life.

Email norfolkcountycatholics@gmail.com if you have any questions before!

CHALLENGE: Bring a friend! This meeting will be an awesome way to bring others into the faith in a casual but welcoming group discussion!
