NordicMeisters Tracks

The 19th Annual Nordic Meisters Series

One of the largest citizen ski races in the country, the Nordic Meisters series resumes at Great Glen Trails, beginning Tuesdsay, January 7th, 2014!  This series runs every Tuesday (excluding February 18th), beginning January 7th, 2014, finishing on March 4th, 2014.

Participants race against the clock on our Nordic Meister course in the Skate and/or Classic category. Participants choose the long course (5k) or the short course (2.7km).  The series consists of eight weeks of timed runs with participant's (6) best age-graded times selected for series-end standings.  Timers are onsite from 9:00am-3:45pm, each series Tuesday.  Participants must complete at least (6) of the eight weeks in order to be eligible for series-end standings and the series finale prize raffle.

There are many options for participation, including single day participation and an Untimed Class for those that want a more leisurely experience.  Individuals may register for single day participation on site.

An awards party/potluck will be held on Friday, March 14 at 5:30pm. Awards are given to the top three skiers in each class, while all participants completing (6) out of eight weeks are entered into a prize raffle. (Participants must be present to win raffle prizes or have a really good friend willing to pick it up for you.)   Each year Great Glen Trails receives thousands of dollars in prizes, from national vendors and local businesses for the Nordic Meisters series finale prize raffle.

Registration includes:

  • (8) weeks of timed age-graded results, posted online and in the Conway Daily Sun weekly
  • FREE skiing every Tuesday, for this season!
  • Invitation to the series finale potluck/awards ceremony
  • Eligibilty for over $5000 in prizes, in the series finale raffle
(*Participants must complete (6) of 8 weeks to be eligible)
