Description

Welcome to YOUR Community Resilience Network! Please join us for an afternoon and evening of connections and collaborations; food and festivities.

To honor the amazing efforts we are all putting forth in the name of resilience, we are hosting this free gathering to launch our new Circle of Collaborators, which will help to deepen our connections to each other and this work.

Network with movers and shakers from our movement, learn valuable storytelling skills and help to co-create a Network to build a regenerative, connected and collaborative region. The gathering will be facilitated by Julian Mocine McQueen of the Million Stories Project.

Confirmed participants include Starhawk/Earth Activist Training, Konda Mason/Impact Hub Oakland, Penny Livingston/Regenerative Design Institute, Benjamin Fahrer/Top Leaf Farms, poet Rafael Jesus Gonzalez, Transition U.S. , Tom Llewellyn/Shareable, and many of our other permaculture, food justice and community resilience friends from around the Bay Area.

Agenda (subject to change):

1:30-2:00... Check-ins and nourshment

2:00-2:40... Welcome

We'll open the gathering with a grounding ceremony to call in the four directions and give thanks to this Native land. Followed by an ice breaker to get to know all the amazing people in the room.

3:30-5:00... "Sharing Our Stories" with Julian Mocine-McQueen, of The Million Person Project

You won't want to miss this lively session about storytelling. Learn how to tell powerful narratives both about your own personal history as well as the projects and organizations you are involved in.
