Nook & Cranny Spoken Word Open Mic

Join us every 1st & 3rd Thursday for our Spoken Word Open Mic at Nook & Cranny Books! Doors open at 6:30pm. On our first mic of the month, we will open with reading, and end with some community-building time. On the third Thursday we mix it up by starting with some free-writing time (and sometimes mini workshops on interesting writing forms!) and the reading portion starts around 7:30. Feel free to come for both portions or just one.

Each reader gets 5 minutes, which they can use however they like. If there is enough time at the end, we will do a bonus round for anyone interested. Weekly themes are fun if you need inspiration, but optional if you're working on something else!
