Event description

Description

At a time when polarization and conflict face us every day, what does it mean to be nonviolent? How do we stand for justice and peace in a way that honors and respects our values? What factors escalate and de-escalate conflicts, and how can we, as leaders and activists, manage conflict with integrity? Kazu Haga, Founder and Project Coordiantor of the East Point Peace Academy has spent his adult life in the practice and study of nonviolence, rooted in the example of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join us as he shares his thoughts on the role of Kingian nonviolence in today's world.
