Two dates available:

  • Friday, February 26 (12:00 - 1:30 pm)
  • Tuesday, March 2 (4:00 - 5:30 pm)

Whether you're looking to identify or re-envision a mission or purpose for your nonprofit or small business—or even for yourself as an employee, board member, or volunteer in these fields—this interactive workshop aims to help you engage in the process of finding and naming it.

Using the Japanese concept of ikigai, we will explore your reason for existing in this world to begin identifying and drafting a statement of purpose.

Sign up today. A link with instructions on how to join the webinar will be emailed to you after you register online via Eventbrite.

Representatives from San Diego County organizations offering services to high-risk/high-need populations are especially encouraged to attend.

Our Facilitator: Grace A. Bagunu, PhD is a higher education professional and leadership expert who currently serves as assistant dean of student affairs at UCSD’s Revelle College. She has worked with UCSD Extension to provide leadership development training to high school and college students as well as community organizations around the greater San Diego community. She also serves as a NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program mentor and currently chairs the NUFP program at UCSD. Grace earned her BA in psychology with a minor in family studies and her master’s in educational administration with an emphasis in higher education from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and she completed her PhD in leadership studies at the University of San Diego.
