The 5-month Nonprofit Management Certificate Program is designed for mid level nonprofit professionals who are interested in developing essential management skills, getting better results and growing professionally.

Learn to Solve Problems Together:

CNM’s interactive sessions create a collaborative learning environment that encourages you to build a network of colleagues and practice new skills with supportive peers throughout the course.

As part of this dynamic program, you will engage in:

  • Peer Learning
  • Opportunity for one-on-one coaching and mentoring
  • Working on a Strategic Improvement Project to begin implementing your learning
  • Also, expand your network of colleagues and “trusted advisors”

The training will be informative, hands-on/interactive, draw on real-life examples from participants, and incorporate group and peer learning activities. Past participants have gone on to be senior leaders, executives, and board members. This program enhanced their career development and skill set.

Who Should Attend:

Leaders with 3 or more years of supervisory experience with community based organizations who are interested in being more effective and responsible.

This program meets on the following dates:

  • November 13, 2019
  • December 4, 2019
  • January 29, 2020
  • February 26, 2020
  • April 1, 2020

Participants must attend ALL five sessions and complete the course project to receive a certificate.

Please note that Eventbrite will only populate your calendar automatically for the first session. You will need to manually add to your calendar the sessions from December to April.

Registration Fee:

Early Bird: $1,300 (ends on October 30th)

Individual: $1,400

Team of 2: $2,500 ($1,250 per person)

Steps to complete registration into Certificate Program:

  1. Complete the online registration and payment
  2. Complete registration questions survey (you will receive a link once the Eventbrite registration is completed)
  3. Receive "Acceptance to Program" email from CNM Staff (Smeza Keegan or Patricia Navarro)

Leslie Robin

Senior Strategist, Center for Nonprofit Management

Leslie has over 30 year of experience in the nonprofit philanthropic field at the local and national levels, fostering change and meeting social and community needs through strategic planning, leadership training and organizational development. Leslie has provided management consultation to nonprofit agencies serving the education, arts and human services. At CNM Leslie provides leadership training, facilitation and consulting to a wide range on nonprofit organizations. She held positions with the Jewish Federation of North America (formerly United Jewish Communities -UJC), the Council of Jewish Federation, and with the Jewish Federation of the Greater East Bay, California. Leslie served as Organizational Development and Management Adjunct Faculty at Hebrew Union College, Los Angeles, and School of Jewish Nonprofit Management. Leslie also has ten years of experience as an Urban Planner. She has a Masters degree in Urban Planning from the School of Public Administration at New York University and a Bachelor degree from the School of Business Administration at the University of California at Berkeley.
