Executive Peer-to-Peer Leadership Coaching

Mission Capital is pleased to offer a program designed especially for busy, experienced nonprofit Executive Directors and CEOs, Nonprofit CEO Coaching Circles offers experienced nonprofit executive directors the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills, and to identify creative solutions to complex challenges with the guidance and support of an understanding network of their peers.

Dates/Times: 6 sessions over 6 months – First session is 12 pm – 3pm and all following sessions are 12pm-2pm

(Beverages and a light lunch will be provided)

  • Friday, February 14, 2020 – 12pm-3pm
  • Friday, March 13, 2020 – 12pm-2pm
  • Friday, April 10, 2020 – 12pm-2pm
  • Friday, May 8, 2020 – 12pm-2pm
  • Friday, June 12, 2020 – 12pm-2pm
  • Friday, July 10, 2020 – 12pm-2pm


Executive Directors/CEOs of Mission Capital member organizations with 3 or more years of executive level experience.

Nonprofit CEO Coaching Circle offer:

  • Peer coaching and problem-solving in cohort groups of 6-8 experienced nonprofit CEOs/EDs
  • Sessions expertly organized and facilitated by a certified Action Learning Coach – Action Learning is an established group problem-solving approach that aids each participant in personal reflection while providing a proven format to address real-life issues
  • Rotating opportunity to present a work challenge or issue for the Coaching Circle to discuss and problem-solve together
  • Development of each participant’s leadership and coaching skills
  • Creation of a trusted, understanding peer network to lean on in the future

Each Participant in the Nonprofit CEO Coaching Circle is asked to:

  • Commit to attending at least 4 of the 6 sessions, remaining present for the entire session
  • Suggest at least one work challenge or issue for the Coaching Circle to discuss and address
  • Ideal challenges or issues are urgent, significant, and a situation the CEO has the authority to act upon.
  • Actively participate in discussions, asking open-ended questions and listening well
  • Keep all conversations confidential
  • Identify personal leadership and/or coaching skills to practice during sessions with guidance from the facilitator and other participants
  • Offer Mission Capital and the facilitator suggestions for improving the Coaching Circle experience for future cohorts

Mission Capital has a strong commitment to making our services accessible to individuals with special needs and disabilities. Two weeks’ notice will allow us to provide seamless access.


All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing no later than two weeks prior to the Learning & Leadership offering. No refunds will be processed within 2 weeks of the event date. You may also transfer a registration to another staff member, board member, or volunteer with the approval of Mission Capital. All transfer requests must be received in writing no later than one week prior to the event date. Note: all refunds are subject to a $50 administrative fee that will be deducted from the amount originally paid.
