Description

As competitive pressures increase for the Southeast Minnesota nonprofit sector, leaders and staff struggle to cope as change agents for organizations and their missions that remain critical for our communities. This workshop introduces an integrated leadership model that can help anyone develop capacity to thrive in this type of environment. Strategies include Leading Self Through Learning, Leading Others Through Relationships, Leading Organizations By Achieving Excellence, and managing to balance it all through work-life integration and synergy. This session will include interactive dialogue with participants specifically focusing on the special needs and challenges for nonprofits.


Presenter: Ronald Menaker, Ed.D., FACMPE, MBA, CPA has 32 years of experience in medical group practice and currently serves as Administrator for Radiology at Mayo Clinic and Assistant Professor of Health Care Administration in the College of Medicine. His doctorate is in Organizational Development and he also serves as faculty for the University of St. Thomas Health Care MBA as a Leadership instructor. Dr. Menaker is the 2014 recipient of the Harry J. Harwick Lifetime Achievement Award from MGMA and author of the book Leadership Strategies: Achieving Personal and Professional Success. He enjoys assisting community change agents at all levels to achieve professional and personal success.
