Join NOMA Atlanta and the Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance as we host an exciting private Walking Tour of the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area.
In 2006, Congress designated 40,000 acres of DeKalb, Rockdale, and Henry Counties as a National Heritage Area for its collection of significant natural, cultural, and historical sites that help to celebrate our nation’s diverse heritage. As the only National Heritage Area in metropolitan Atlanta, the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area radiates beauty, brings inspiration, and evokes captivating history with over two dozen noteworthy places connected to thirty-two miles of trails, two mountains, and two lakes.
Be prepared for a spectacular guided tour of Arabia Mountain and the Flat Rock Archives including historic Flat Rock Community Church, two of the most memorable landmarks in the metropolitan area and the State of Georgia. Bring your best walking shoes, love of the outdoors and sense of adventure.
