Directed by celebrated Georgetown alumnus Reg Douglas (COL ’09), Sweat is a timely, moving, and funny Pulitzer Prize-winning collision of race, class, and friendship at a pivotal moment in America. A group of friends in a Rust Belt town has spent their lives sharing secrets and laughs on the factory floor, but when layoffs begin to chip away at their trust, they are pitted against each other in a heart-wrenching fight.

The theatre will have 51 available seats per show.

Please Note: In accordance with University policy, Georgetown students, faculty, and staff must show Georgetown ID (digital or physical) at the door, and visitors must follow instructions to upload vaccine & booster, exemption, or negative test documentation as well as presenting a form of ID. Details will be sent after registration is complete and before the performance. Masks are required in all Georgetown University buildings. High-quality masks (N95, KN95, KF94) are highly encouraged.

All patrons should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. If the show is sold out, any unclaimed passes will be released to other patrons on the Stand-By list beginning at 10 min prior.
