Join us in celebrating a change of season with a taste Brisbane's Winter Produce, presented by Noir x Lauren Kinne
About this event
Immerse yourself in this 5 course intimate dinner paired perfectly with wine hand-selected by our sommelier and dishes prepared by award wining Chef Lauren Kinne.
Lauren began her career as a Chef in Tasmania working as an Apprentice Chef in Italian and Japanese/Korean restaurants. She found great excitement highlighting local ingredients and would adopt this as her core ideology for creating dishes. Her skills would be quickly recognised as she was awarded the Tasmanian Hospitality Association Apprentice of the Year. Constantly looking for challenge, Lauren moved to Brisbane where she worked as Sous Chef at Bucci on James St before moving to StokehouseQ in South Bank.
Working at Elska for the last 2 years has reinforced Lauren’s love for creating dishes with local and seasonal products and Elska was awarded QLD Restaurant of the Year 2021 in the Gourmet Traveller Awards.
Now working at Restaurant Dan Arnold, Lauren continues to push herself to learn and refine her skills as a Chef.
'Evolving as a Chef is one of the greatest ways to stay creative and to keep gaining skills. My values as a Chef focus on wanting to create beautiful, tasty and sustainable food – this will never change! I am continually pushing myself and my skills as a Chef because that's where the adventure of food can really be enjoyed.'
