About this Event

Charlie Appelstein, MSW, is an internationally prominent youth care specialist who uses positive, strength-based principles to tap into the greatness in every young person.

His empowering book, No Such Thing as a Bad Kid, is packed with positive principles and techniques to help educators and professionals develop powerful and transforming relationships with the students they guide.

Charlie Appelstein is the author of acclaimed youth care books including No Such Thing as a Bad Kid: Understanding and Responding to Kids with Emotional & Behavioral Challenges Using a Positive, Strength-Based Approach and The Gus Chronicles: Reflections from an Abused Kid

Targeted Audience: School administrators, counselors, support staff and school leadership

  • 8:15-9:00 am: Registration
  • 9:00-12:00 pm: Keynote & Morning Session with Charlie Appelstein
  • 12:00-12:45 pm: Lunch
  • 12:45-3:00 pm: Afternoon Session with Charlie Appelstein

Lunch will be provided for morning-only or all-day session attendees.

Attendees have the option to attend the full-day or half-day session.
