Please join the Global Women's Institute (GWI) and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) as we officially unveil our ground-breaking research on gender-based violence during times of conflict and crisis in South Sudan.

With funding from the UK Department for International Development under the What Works to Prevent Violence Against Women and Girls intitiative, GWI collaborated with the IRC on this multi-year, research project.

We are please to welcome IRC President, David Miliband as the special guest speaker. He will be joined by South Sudanese activist, Valentino Achak Deng; the first U.S. Ambassador to South Sudan, Susan Page; and GWI Director, Dr Mary Ellsberg.

Following the event, will be a short reception.

This is a free event, which is open to the public, but for security reasons and because space is limited, please register for the event in advance.
