No More Black Targets
Date and time
Description
In a world of fragmented attention and media bombast, sometimes it takes art to cut through the clutter.
In America, this violence against young black males is surging. The data is clear: between 2015 and 2016, 69% of these shootings were against victims that were non-violent and unarmed. For some reason, young black men are 3X more likely to be shot by trained shooters than their white peers.
Join us for a one-night-only event of powerful inspiring art for positive change.
From the city streets to the gallery, we welcome you to NO MORE BLACK TARGETS a group exhibition by a collective of artists, diverse in backgrounds, ethnicities and nationalities, working in paint, digital media, patternmaking and also physical installations to bring new artwork to life.
The collective stand for “More paint. Less hate.”
