Join us for the launch of our documentary! Afterwards we'll discuss ways to advocate for the end of ambulance fees throughout Nova Scotia.

Founded in January of 2020, The End Ambulance Fees Intiative was created after their founding member, Julia Wright had the misfortunate of taking a few ambulance rides, later discovering that each ride would cost them $146.50.

Since its establishment, this intiative has created a petition garnering over 25 000 signatures, attracted the attention from several local media outlets, and expanded to include a second chapter in Manitoba.

This March, the intiative will screen its documentary "No Free Rides," which details why many Nova Scotians are passionate about ending Ambulance Fees. Afterwards, we'll have a discussion about why we want to end ambulance fees and the benefits of doing so.
