NEPIRC - the Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center - in conjunction with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP - is hosting a no-cost lunch seminar on ASC 606 Revenue Recognition: How Will the New Guidelines Impact Your Organization?

Nearly every organization must address the way it sells products and services and establishes contracts with customers. In light of how entities will need to recognize revenue, this could impact key financial ratios, sales, contracts, technology systems, accounting, and internal controls.

This no-cost session will help you understand revenue recognition rules and better prepare for implementation in this complex area. Baker Tilly has developed a six-step methodology to help you through the complex process of assessing impact, developing a plan, and implementing that plan across your organization. This is a technical topic that will benefit CEOs, CFOs and Controllers.

Topics covered include:

- Key elements of ASC 606 – revenue recognition

- How to implement a methodology tailored to your organization

- Revenue assessment advice

- Cross-functional technical resources available
