Welcome to the Chicago Master Class & Workshop at the Phlearn Studio, going down on December 6-7. The ideal weekend of learning and shooting that will take your glamour photography & retouching skills to the next level, plus some special discussions and guests.

Saturday, December 6 - Lighting, Shooting, Posing, Interaction Instruction
Spend the day learning the details of what I do in my studio glamour work, especially lighting and posing. I will be reviewing my single light setups and multiple light setups, discussing the reasoning and styling behind each, and how I do my overall light shaping in the studio.

After the class, I will be opening a discussion / lecture on the Business of Glamour, and will open this up for Q&A and interaction with all attendees. Hands on learning is vital, but so is good old fashioned discussion! This portion will run about an hour to an hour and a half.

Sunday, December 7 - High End Glamour Retouching Class
Starting at 11:00am and running until about 3:00pm, I will be reviewing all the sordid details about my high end glamour retouching approaches. Laptops running Photoshop* are recommended, but not required. This is usually one of the most popular aspects of my Master Classes.

Following the retouching class, Phlearn Social Media Director, David J. Crewe, will be speaking on the subjects of social media marketing for photographers and opening up to Q&A.

Your camera and favorite lenses. 50mm, 85mm, 100mm or 135mm primes are strongly recommended, but 24-70, 24-205 and 70-200's are good options as well. Lighting equipment will be provided during the instructional portions of the class.
