If you are new to the world of DSLR photography... that is if you finally have one of those really cool interchangeable lens cameras... and have no idea where to start, but know you want better pictures, this is the perfect class for you! We will walk through the settings on the cameras and when to use them. We will help you figure out what lens to use and when to use it. There is even some time spent on helping you compose better pictures. Please join us as we unravel the mystery to making really wonderful pictures.
This class targets the D3000-series (D3000, D3100, D3200, D3300, D3400) and D5000-series (D5000, D5100, D5200, D5300, D5500) cameras. Rarely do classes focus on specific models of cameras--this is a unique opportunity to get a better idea of how to use your camera. While this class targets the D3000 and D5000 series cameras, owners of D7000-series cameras (D7000, D7100, D7200) could definitely still get value out of this class.
Meet at CameraMall (518 E Washington St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104). After confirming you're registered to attend, we'll walk over to The Michigan Theater Screening Room--we have a backdoor entrance right behind our store. The class will be held in The Michigan Theater Screening Room.
