Event description
This informative workshop will provide women with a variety of solutions to prepare for quality sleep and transform from tired to thriving!

About this Event

Do you feel well-rested when you wake up?

More than 1/3 of American adults are sleep deprived and inadequate sleep is an epidemic that's causing an increasing number of health issues. We've become too accustomed to focusing on the daily demands in our lives and "staying awake" and active, rather than prioritizing 7-8 hours of quality sleep time.

This workshop will give you front row access to a variety of sleep experts who will provide a broader picture of whole body health and wellness when it comes to getting your beauty sleep; from what you wear, to what you eat and drink, to how you relax your mind and body, all to give you that healthy glow that you deserve after a hard days work.

YOU WILL BE TREATED TO:

• Conversations with sleep experts

• Guided therapeutic yoga for sleep preparation

• Samples of food and beverages that promote quality sleep

• An overview of CBD and how it may help you sleep better

• Tips for stress and pain reduction

• Luxuriously soft, comfortable and stylish loungewear you will look forward to putting on to set the tone for your beauty sleep.

FEATURED SPEAKERS:

KALI PATRICK, A Journey into Health

Kali is a Mind-Body Wellness Coach & Therapeutic Yoga Teacher who helps busy people improve their health. Her specialties include sleep difficulties, chronic pain, emotional eating and stress / anxiety. Kali's sleep coaching and therapeutic yoga practices can help you develop better sleep habits resulting in refreshing sleep and more energy.

Before leading us in a short, participatory movement & breath practice, Kali will share how the secret to restorative sleep goes beyond "bed-time hygiene" and turning off devices.

NEDA HOVAIZI, DDS, Lumiere Dental Spa

Dr. Hovaizi is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society and is on the cutting edge of research and treatment of dental related sleep conditions. She will share with us her expertise in treatment of teeth grinding, snoring and sleep apnea and how she is taking the lead on starting a national conversation about these issues.

IRVIN RIVAS, Commonwealth Cambridge

Irvin is the bar manager at Commonwealth Cambridge and has extensive knowledge and experience in the beverage industry. Along with treating us to samples of a relaxing, bedtime drink he's prepared exclusively for this event, he will also share his insight on CBD and how he incorporates it personally and on the menu.

MAUREEN BARILLARO, I Love My Nighty

Maureen is the event organizer and founder of I Love My Nighty, who advocates for women to "dress to de-stress". Like the encouraging words written by Marie Kondo, New York Times Best Selling author of The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, "break the habit of downgrading clothes that don't thrill you, into loungewear", Maureen believes that what we wear in the comfort of home, sets the tone for your sleep preparation. Time at home is a precious part of our lives and what we wear is of value to our health and well being, even if no one sees us. Shop the latest styles of her luxuriously soft, eco-friendly, made in USA loungewear and feel the difference for yourself.
