Night Photography Workshop

Alex Window of AKWindow Photography and Tim Rosenthal of Imagery by Tim Rosenthal are teaming up to provide you with an evening of fun. You will be learning to use your camera under the stars. We will provide you with the skills needed to begin taking stunning images of the night sky. The essentials will be to get you started taking shots of the night sky. We will include the following

- Tools and apps to help you plan your night shoot

- Focusing in the dark

- Choosing the correct settings depending on what you want to achieve

- How to add light to a scene

- Accessories

- Basic editing

Our workshops run for 3 hours and include notes on what we cover as well as a video of how we edit our night images in Adobe Lightroom. Workshops are located close to Mount Gambier on private property to allow for learning to take place without interruption.

There will be some equipment available on the night to try incuding tripods and Samyang lenses in Nikon and Canon Mount.

Equipment needed: digital cameras with manual controls (P, A/Av, S/Tv and M modes) including DSLRs, Micro Four Third cameras, mirrorless cameras and advanced compact cameras.
