Saida Agostini (she/her) is a queer Afro-Guyanese poet whose work explores the ways that Black folks harness mythology to enter the fantastic. https://saidaagostini.com/

Cyree Jarelle Johnson (he/him) is a poet and writer from Piscataway, NJ. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Boston Review, WUSSY, The Wanderer, Vice, Rewire News, The Root, and Nat. Brut among other publications. He earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University with support from Davis Putter Scholarship Fund. http://cyreejarellejohnson.com/

The Art Life Institute is a performance art incubator, gallery space and exhibition venue located in the historic Rondout neighborhood in Kingston, New York. We are an anti-racist, BIPOC and queer centering community space.

This is an indoor event. Masks are required and available for free at the door. If you don't feel well and have any of the symptoms below, take care of yourself and stay home until you can get tested.

Possible symptoms of COVID-19 include:

Fever, Cough that becomes productive. Chest pain, New loss of taste or smell

Changes in the skin, such as discolored areas on the feet and hands

Sore throat, Nausea, vomiting, belly pain or diarrhea

Chills, Muscle aches and pain, Extreme fatigue, New severe headache

New nasal congestion

Everyone with COVID-19 should stay home and isolate from others for at least five full days.

If you are recovering from COVID-19, the CDC recommends wearing the most protective face mask that you'll wear regularly, fits well and is comfortable. Wear the mask while you are around other people through day 10.
