PRESENTED BY COOL CLEVELAND
"A Night at the Museum" will take you to 1916, then sling-shot you to the 70's and today.
Night at the Museum / Halle Costume Museum / Western Reserve Historical Society
The most stylish night at the museum that you have ever seen. Join Pattie Edmonson, curator of costume and textiles, for an evening of elegance and style as Cleveland History Center and Fashion Week Cleveland team up for A Night at the Museum. Take a walk down Cleveland's Millionaire's Row.... Euclid Avenue. Enter the Hannah Mansion and see the clothing worn by many a well-to-do Clevelander of the early 1900's. From here the Curator will take you to the Ohio Knitting Mill of the 1950's and ‘60's. She will show you the once secret surviving inventory of original sweaters and other knit garments. These items, in nearly pristine condition, will captivate you and remind you that “fashion revisits fashion”. Some of these magnificent sweaters will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Event admission, Halle Costume wing (Cleveland's historic clothes museum) admission, vintage clothing sales, cash bar, exhibits, curator presentation, and the most stylish museum cocktail party that you have ever seen! /
ADMISSION $10 / $15 at the door
Please note; there are no ticket refunds; unless the event, itself, is cancelled.
