Welcome to Ujamaa Marketplace. We are a collective effort of vendors, artisans, business owners, patrons and African+American community members. On Friday, December 30, 2016 we will gather to celebrate our heritage at, NIA Kwaanza Boogie: Ujamaa Marketplace, Art Show & Community Dance Party. Either you have been selected for this event or you have selected to participate in Ujamaa Marketplace. Congratulations! Good choice.
This event's Ujamaa Marketplace will take place at SHAPE Community Center, Harambe Building on 3903 Almeda, HTX. *Please see the map for directions. You may bring your own set-up or we will provide you with a table, 2 chairs, a tablecloth, and access to an electrical outlet. (Please specify if you need electricity.) Vendors may arrive between 1pm-4pm. After 4pm, you will be considered a 'No Show' and your space may no longer be available. NO REFUNDS. If you are unable to attend, please notify us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Your registration will transfer to Saturday's Kwaanza Event.
Vendor registration deadline is December 18, 2016.

To further the reach of the Ujamaa Marketplace and the Artist's patronage we will provide atteendees with NIA Kwaanza Boogie Commemorative Proxgrams. These will include art, articles and ads! If you are a registered vendor, you will recieve a *BONUS Business Card ad placement. If you need a larger image, the prices range from $20-$100.
Email image (pdf, or jpeg, or ms word, ms publisher) formats to: firstname.lastname@example.org. All ad submissions must be made by December 18, 2016. Publications will be available on December 30, 2016.
On December 27, 2016 we will have a confernce call to share your placements and answer all questions or concerns you may have. Call-in codes will be sent via email.
Lastly, consider donating an item to the raffle. Throughout the night we will be gifting door prizes. This is a stratgic way of bringing traffic to your table. We will also raffle items donated by businesses that place ads in the NIA Kwaanza Boogie Commerative Program. Donations will be collected from 1p- 4pm on Friday, December 30, 2016.
