NEW HAMPSHIRE PUBLIC RADIO presents
host of Science Friday
May 1, 2012
6:00 p.m., Strafford Room, Memorial Union Building
University of New Hampshire,
Veteran National Public Radio science correspondent and award-winning journalist Ira Flatow, host of Talk Of The Nation: Science Friday®, is coming to Durham, N.H. He’ll be interviewed on stage at the University of New Hampshire by NHPR’s All Things Considered host Brady Carlson and will take questions from the audience.
Science Friday can be heard in New Hampshire on NHPR every Friday at 2 p.m. Each week, Ira brings radio and internet listeners worldwide a lively, informative discussion on science, technology, health, space, and the environment. Mixing his passion for science with a tendency toward being “a bit of a ham,” Flatow describes his work as the challenge “to make science and technology a topic for discussion around the dinner table.”
