LADC/MLADC Administrative Rules Overview

April 10, 2019 , 9 am , 12 pm

130 Pembroke Road Suite 100

Concord, NH

with Dianne Pepin Castrucci, M.Ed., MLADC

A 3 hour training event

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (registration begins at 8:30 a.m.)

PRESENTATION: This 3-hour workshop will provide an overview of the Alc 300 rules adopted by the NH Board of Licensing for Alcohol & Other Drug Use Professionals in October 2016 as well as the Alc400 rules adopted in July 2018. The 300 rules describe the initial licensure requirements for LADCs and MLADCs and the 400 rules described the re-licensure and supervisor/supervision requirements. Initial and relicensure requirements will be examined for both credentials. Upon completion of this workshop participants will be able to access the administrative rules online and reference the sections pertaining to LADC and MLADC initial licensure. They will be able to describe the role of the International Credentialing & Reciprocity Consortium for New Hampshire licensure. Participants will also have an increased confidence in being able to answer questions about credentialing for both the people they supervise toward the credential or in their own pursuit of the credentials. NASW/NBCC contact hours are not available for this workshop.

PRESENTERS: Dianne Pepin Castrucci, MEd., MLADC is the Executive Director of the NH Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors Association. In her role with NHADACA she has been involved in the education, advocacy and leadership of substance use professionals since 2004. She has been in the substance use profession as a whole for over 25 years and as such has worked in a variety of treatment and intervention settings including outpatient, DWI, county and state corrections systems. Dianne is also the chair of the Peer Review Subcommittee of the NH Board of Licensing for Alcohol & Other Drug Use Professionals. She commonly answers questions pertaining to credentialing for LADCs, MLADCs and CRSWs and is very familiar with the licensing procedures and processes. She is involved in workforce development efforts throughout NH and has been advocating the legislative needs pertaining to these credentials for over 15 years. She is a strong proponent of NHADACA’s mission to provide quality education, workforce development, advocacy, ethical standards and leadership for addiction professionals, as well as empower efforts in prevention, treatment and recovery.

FAQs for sponsored trainings

What is this application process for?

Network4Health is pleased to purchase seats for particular events. We generally sponsor a limited number of seats, and this process allows us to track who is interested in attending so that we are able to accurately know whom we are paying for.

Does Network4Health reserve seats at these trainings?

Generally no, we don't. Instead, Network4Health will pay a training vendor per attendee after the training is over.

Once I fill out this form, does that mean I am registered for the event?

No. This is only the first step so Network4Health knows you are interested in registering for the event itself.

How do I register for the event itself?

Each event is different. Once an individual has completed this registration process, an automatic email with specific instructions on how to register for the actual event will be sent out to the email address given to us. Our staff will ensure that all those that complete the form are given the chance to register for the given event.

Will I have to pay upfront and get reimbursed later?

No. Once you have completed this registration step, you will be sent an email with specific instructions on how to register for the event itself. This may include certain steps to take to indicate Network4Health will be paying for your registration fee.

I tried to register but the event is at capacity. I thought I was guaranteed a seat?

Unfortunately Network4Health is not guaranteeing seats at trainings. We recommend that you still complete this process and register with the vendor to get on their waitlist.

What happens if I can’t attend the training after I’ve registered?

In an effort to maximize grant funds, we ask that our registrants make every effort to attend all or part of the training they registered for. If you find that you need to cancel your registration, please notify Geoff Vercauteren, Director of Workforce Development for Network4Health, at geoffrey.vercauteren@cmc-nh.org as soon as possible. It would be helpful if you have identified another staff member to go in your place.
