Summer Entrepreneurship BizCamp

Ever dreamed of owning your own business?

Give us two weeks — and we’ll show you how

Any student currently in grades 8–12 is invited to a two-week entrepreneurship BizCamp this summer where you will learn how to start your very own business! This program is free of charge thanks to the generous support of NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship). Learn more about NFTE at nfte.com. NFTE’s BizCamps are designed to unlock the entrepreneurial mindset in youth as each participant builds a full plan for an original business idea of their own. Morgan State University is hosting this BizCamp focused on NFTE’s award-winning entrepreneurship program, which also features themes of leadership, leveraging inspirational entrepreneurs as guest speakers, and activities focused on confidence-building. This summer session will help students gain the confidence and skills they need to become the CEOs of their future.

The experiential entrepreneurship program activities include group work, individual learning, field trips, a selling event, and a business plan competition with more than $1,000 in prizes. Local business leaders and entrepreneurs will coach all students as they create business plans and practice problem solving, flexibility, collaboration, critical thinking, comfort with risk, and other 21st Century workforce development skills.

Participants can compete for a chance to win up to $1,000 at NFTE’s Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge in Baltimore and move on to a national competition in New York City where they can win up to $15,000!
