Through our city’s art, culture and people, the event elevated our city’s brand internationally further demonstrating why Nashville is indeed the “It” city.

“Nashville has become a worldwide travel destination and just hosted the biggest NFL Draft ever, with record highs in attendees and TV viewership,” Mayor David Briley said. “The economic impact of the event has set a record as well. I want to again thank everyone who came together to make the Draft such a safe and successful event.”

As Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk has said, “By any measure, it was the NFL’s most successful draft in their history, and I am so proud that our organization played a role in that achievement. This year’s draft will be remembered for years to come and will definitely lead to other events large and small for our city.”

Moderator:

Mike Keith (Radio Host, TN Titans)
Simply put, Mike Keith has been the VOICE of The Tennessee Titans for the past 21 seasons. As a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Mike worked for the legendary John Ward with the Vol Radio Network from 1987-98 and has done play-by-play announcing on radio and television for a variety of sports on a variety of levels. In addition to his play-by-play duties, Mike hosts multiple Titans Radio shows, the Mike Vrabel Show and Titans All Access television programs, and The Official Titans Podcast (The OTP).

Butch Spyridon (President & CEO NCVC)
Raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Butch Spyridon is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Georgetown University and has served as the head of the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation (NCVC) since 1991. Since that time, the NCVC has led the strategic development of Nashville’s hospitality industry, and Music City has evolved into a global, year-round destination, generating over $7 billion in visitor spending.

Patrick Hamilton (Deputy Chief of Staff, Mayor Briley's Office)
Originally from Morristown, TN Patrick Hamilton attended the University of Tennessee, from which he received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. Patrick serves as Deputy Chief of Staff for the Mayor’s Office. In this role, Patrick serves as the “gatekeeper” for the Mayor’s time, managing the Mayor’s public and personal schedules, gathering briefing materials, and assigning surrogates to represent the Mayor at meetings and events.

Burke Nihill (VP & General Counsel, TN Titans)
A native of the Western suburbs of Chicago, Burke Nihill has served as the Vice President/General Counsel for the Tennessee Titans for the past two years and has been with the organization since 2016. Burke manages the legal affairs of the Titans to include labor and employment issues. Burke is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and the Chicago-Kent College of Law and has held previous positions with OfficeMax Inc. and Tressler, LLP.

Deana Ivey (CMO, NCVC)
Deana Ivey serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp and has been with the organization since 1997. She helps oversee and coordinate the organization’s marketing efforts as Nashville continues its momentum as a top global destination.
