Leadership Summit 2018: A Call to Action for Public Administrators! 

Service, Engagement, Empowerment, Knowledge (SEEK)

 

Service – Seek outreach and mentoring opportunities that raise awareness of the issues affecting our community and enlarge our overall understanding of how we can facilitate positive change..

Engagement – Respond with courage, conviction and transparency to individuals, constituencies, governmental officials, stakeholders and partners to address community concerns.

Empowerment Participate in strengthening efforts that encourage individuals and communities to cultivate their existing power and wield it toward reinforcing grassroots infrastructure.

Knowledge – Commit to collaborative information sharing practices that enhance knowledge and skill as well as provide transformative education opportunities that eliminate barriers to higher achievement.

 


 

Leadership Summit 2018 will feature a series of workshops, forums, panel discussions, and keynote speeches to address complex issues within our communities today. The conference will provide the tools and strategies that can be used to effectively manage these issues and produce positive outcomes.

As we plan this dynamic event, it is the expectation that our attendees will leave the Leadership Summit 2018 seeking opportunities to be more engaged, feeling empowered to contribute and make a difference and enhanced in their skills to meet the challenges of public administration.

  • A meeting of prominent city, county, state, and national leaders from varying spectrums in public administration such as utility executives, regional and national city management experts to discuss challenges and opportunities facing their cities.
