Event description

Description

The Boston chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators will sponsor an evening of art and fellowship at the Institute for Contemporary Art / Boston. This event will feature a guided tour of the exhibits by the African-American artist Nina Chanel Abney (description here) as well as the Argentinian artist Vivian Suter (description here).

A $10 donation to NFBPA Boston is appreciated!

After the tour, we will have light refreshments at a nearby restaurant (Wagamama and Honeygrow are near the ICA). There is no entrance fee to the ICA on Thursday evenings.

The Institute for Contemporary Art / Boston is located at 25 Harbor Shore Drive, Boston, MA 02210, in the South Boston waterfront section of the city. While parking is available near the ICA, public transit is suggested: from South Station, transfer to the Silver Line Waterfront. The ICA is a short walk from either the World Trade Center or the Courthouse station. Full travel and parking directions are available here.

Please mark your calendar for an evening of art, conversation, food and drink at the ICA on Thursday, September 12 at 5:30 PM. Please contact president@nfbpaboston.org
