FIVE SESSIONS

TUESDAYS: NOVEMBER 8 - DECEMBER 13

BEATMAKING BASICS
Instructor: Cassie McDuffie

Learn the basics of building rhythm and emotion through the process of beat making. Participants will learn how to originate, build and sequence sounds to create new tracks that can stand alone or be used as the foundation for performance. Software instruction in GarageBand and Pro Tools.

Fall is the perfect time to get those digital art making skills honed and ready for action. This fall we will offer a series of skill building sessions dedicated to improving participants understanding of the technology that drives creative storytelling. Check out the options below and make sure you sign up early. These sessions are open to the public but pre-registration is highly encouraged as each session will be capped at 8 participants.

Each 2 hour session will include a a short lecture or demonstration, creative practice and time for questions and answers.

** Please note: November 22nd In Progress will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
