You are invited to attend this year's Next Steps Mid- Year Event on January 7th at Temple University. This year's conference theme will be Building College Resilience. Come join us for another rejuvinating event with the Next Steps AmeriCorps Family.
Next Steps is designed as a college completion and success strategy, the Next Steps AmeriCorps Program will engage 70 students in part-time AmeriCorps service during the 2015-2016 school year. This event will bring together all 70 Next Steps AmeriCorps members across 5 college institutions to learn, interact and engage with one another about their service, college resilience, mentorship and much more! Hours for this professional development count towards your 300 hours of service.
During this event we plan to:
- Provide FREE professional heads shots to all students- dress professional (optional)
- Provide a Credit Score 101 Workshop
- Have team building breakout sessions
- Have catered food
- Have a Keynote speaker
- Have goodies for everyone
- And much more!

Important note for Mentors and Mentees*
Next Steps AmeriCorps is offering a Credit Score 101 workshop to both mentors and mentees. In order to better understand how Next Steps AmeriCorps can help our members build knowledge on financial budgeting/credit score, we would like your support in taking a pre-workshop survey (there will be questions for you to answer as you are registering for this event) and a follow up, post-workshop survey at a later time.
No prior knowledge of financial budgeting/credit score is required for this survey, as it is only an assessment to gauge your basic understanding about the topic.
