The NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) presents this free Next Level Services workshop for Goods & Services M/WBEs:

What Every M/WBE Entrepreneur Should Know About Their Financials to Succeed

This in-person, 2-hour workshop will review answers to frequently asked questions about small business finance. Topics will include:

  • How does your business compare with others in your industry?
  • Will increasing your sales actually improve your financial outlook?
  • Improving communication with your banker and lender through clear communication
  • How to know when to increase prices, expand your staff or space, or diversify your product

This class is a fantastic opportunity to increase your financial savvy with top subject matter expert, Peter Patch, who is a distinguished business consultant, advisor and professor of entrepreneurship and small business for over 30 years. He has a BA from Harvard, an MBA from Stanford University, and has completed Doctoral studies at Harvard University and Harvard Business School.

Who should attend:

  • Graduates of SBS’ or other mentorship programs;
  • NYC-certified or eligible to apply to be certified M/WBEs;
  • At least 3 years in operation;
  • Have a minimum of $300,000 in annual revenues; and
  • Are interested in pursuing NYC contracting opportunities.
