NEXT IN ROTATION
Overview
After three months of one-on-one mentoring with an industry professional, our Bridge The Gap participants are ready to bring their projects from the mic to the stage. Each artist has built an original body of work from scratch — written, recorded, released, and performed live for the first time.
Featuring BRDG3, a multidisciplinary creative from South Auckland now based on the North Shore, blending spoken word, rap, and design into a voice all his own;
pRieZt, a purpose-driven lyricist known for authenticity, faith, and community-minded storytelling;
and Shaskey, a Te Tai Rāwhiti native, Tāmaki Makaurau-based producer and rapper who holds himself with mana on the mic (take note, Shaskey stepped in at the last minute as another participant had to step out of the program).
This is NEXT IN ROTATION — the next generation owning their place in the NZ music scene, from the booth to the spotlight.
