Next Fest Connects: Pricing Strategies for Musicians
Event Information
About this Event
Talking about price is a challenge for any entrepreneur – and for a musician, it can be especially challenging. How can we even begin to set prices for work or time? It turns out, it’s not as hard as it seems.
Four factors—cost, competition, customers, and competencies—affect the price for a creative entrepreneur’s work or time. This interactive workshop will outline the science behind each factor and share hands-on activities to use in building a pricing strategy that captures the real value of a musician’s work or time.
At the end of the webinar, participants will:
- Identify the four components of a holistic pricing strategy.
- Apply techniques to analyze each component.
- Use tools to estimate an appropriate rate for work or time.
