Join us as we gear up for our 7th Annual Newtown Irish Festival, a four-day party that starts Thursday, March 16th. This is a family friendly festival featuring live music, Irish step-dancing, traditional Irish food and drinks, the amazing 5k Shamrock Shuffle race, as well as kid friendly activities such as face painting and balloon twisting.
The festival will run through Sunday, March 19th .
The fun starts March 16th with a “Very Irish Evening” Concert under the heated tent at 6pm with Blackthorn accompanied by “The Man of a Thousand Voices,” Joe Conklin. In addition to this concert, we also have musician Mike Shackleton in the restaurant from 7pm-11pm. *Tickets for a "Very Irish Evening" includes a VIP all access wristband that provides you VIP access to the show ($50 value), entrance to the Festival all weekend ($30 value), a $20 Green Parrot gift card with no expiration, as well as a four hour open bar for the show ($50 value). *Guests must be 21 years or older to purchase tickets for this event
On Friday, March 17th , St. Patrick’s Day, we will have fun for guests of all ages. Live music begins at 11am in the restaurant with Ray Coleman followed by Ireland’s own Seamus Kelleher. Live music, face painting, balloon twisting, and Irish step-dancing will begin under the Green Parrot tent at 1 pm. Clancy’s Pistol takes the stage at 12:30 pm followed by the Jim Milligan band from 6pm-10pm.
The fun begins bright and early on Saturday, March 18 th , with our 2nd annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K race. This Shamrock Shuffle offers more than your typical 5K. Once you finish running through historic Newtown, we invite you to keep the party going! With your registration for the 5K, you will receive awesome swag and an all-access wristband which allows you entry into the Days' Irish Festival Events. Your wristband is good for 1 complimentary beverage (this includes alcohol for those 21+), a food voucher, and continuous entry all night long!
Following the race, Juliano Brothers make their Newtown Irish Festival debut, followed by Jamison Celtic Rock band. In the restaurant, Seamus McGroary, Keep the Change Band, and DJ ESG are here to entertain.
On Sunday, March 19 th , Ray Coleman, Keep The Change Duo, and Seamus McGroary will be in the restaurant. The Secret Service Band will be under the tent from 12pm-4pm and Go Go Gadjet will be here to wrap up the Festival under the tent from 5pm-9pm.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The Newtown Irish Festival is a family friendly event. Guests under the age of 21 will not be charged entrance to the Festival. All patrons over the age of 21 will be charged a $10 entrance fee. All guests must show a valid State Issued ID along with a second form of ID in order to consume alcohol.
What can I bring into the event?
The Newtown Irish Festival is both an indoor/outdoor event. We recommend that patrons dress according to the weather. However, we are not responsible for patrons personal belongings.

What's the refund policy?
Refunds for a "Very Irish Evening" will be honored if you cancel within 48 hours of purchasing tickets. However, tickets purchased within 72 hours of the show will not be refunded (must purchase tickets before 6:00pm on Monday, March 13th in order to get a refund)
Refunds for all other tickets will be honored if you cancel within 24 hours of the event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, you must have your printed ticket for all events.
