Event description

Description

Newtown Bridle Lands Association is excited to announce our 40th Annual Frost On The Pumpkin Hunter Pace in Newtown on Sunday, October 28th. We are planning a fabulous hunter pace on a beautiful course followed by a Pace luncheon with delicious food from Tambascio’s Restaurant. There will be live music, vendors with tack and other items. Our trail course for the FROST ON THE PUMPKIN PACE is approximately 7-9 miles. It runs through various terrains… open fields on mowed paths, wooded trails, scenic views which showcase the fall foliage and a lake.

Of course we will have our annual costume competition with awards for the best costumes. We also have a PeeWee award for the youngest rider and a Jack Benny award for the oldest horse and rider pair. First place winners in each division will receive a gift bucket and saddle pad. Ribbons will be awarded to ten places in each division.

Teams must consist of two or three riders. Western teams must include at least one western rider. Junior teams must include at least one rider less than 18 years of age. A waiver must be signed by a parent/guardian for all junior riders. Online entries close 10/25 or when full. Early entry is encouraged to reserve preferred start time. Unless you have received confirmation of a start time do not assume you have one. Times will be confirmed by email to the team captain. Registration at the Pace will incur a $10 late entry fee.

Ride times available between 8:30 - 11:30 am (Riders MUST finish by 2:00 pm to be included in Pace results). Additional information on how to register with Eventbrite is in the Instructions section below.
