#newtovc: The Importance of Modeling Out VC Returns to Building a Thesis
Event Information
About this event
In this session, Charlie O’Donnell of Brooklyn Bridge Ventures will give a talk about the very first thing he did when he started BBV and that was build a portfolio cash flow model on expected returns. He’ll discuss the basics of what reasonable assumptions are and how they flow into return estimates and why it’s important to ground your assumptions in reality before coming up with a thesis for a fund.
#newtovc is an educational series for a group of relatively new investors who want to be exposed to the best venture and startup thinking. This is a group of accredited investors and non-partner VCs that skew, not exclusively, but intentionally towards diverse backgrounds.
This event is virtual, you will receive Zoom instructions post-registration.
