Newton Family Conference
Sat, March 25, 2017, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM EDT
The Newton Family Conference is an opportunity to bring our families together as we strive to ensure that our schools are welcoming and encouraging places for all. The conference will give African-American/Black and Hispanic/Latino Families an opportunity to connect with one another and to learn from highly sought after presenters on how to support their children in a majority white environment to thrive both academically and socially.
This event will have two Workshops, A & B for the day. You may choose to attend ONLY 2 of the 3 Topics available. The same topics presented in Workshop A will be repeated in Workshop B.
Each parent must register seperately.
Select only 2 topics from the list. If you choose more than 2 topics the extra topic will be removed at random.
Older children should be registered individualy to attend workshops with their parents.
Limited child care is available for children age 5-10 (K-5 gr) and is available on a first come first serve basis.
