Description

Join us on Wednesday, June 26, for our Summer Membership Meeting here at the NewsGuild of New York. This is an opportunity for you to come see what your union has been up to, meet fellow colleagues, and of course, make your voice heard! Ask questions. Give comments. Tell us your ideas!

Keynote speaker, Fulbright Scholar and Guild member Jeff Mason, current White House Correspondent for Reuters, will talk about his experiences serving as a political reporter under the Trump administration as well as leading the fight for the first amendment as the former President of the White House Correspondents’ Association.

In addition to honoring the Keenan Award winner, the Guild will celebrate our newly-organized colleagues from Buzzfeed News, Quartz, Pitchfork, Ars Technica and Wirecutter with The Trailblazer Awards.

Local President Grant Glickson and Secretary-Treasurer Vincent Mallozzi will be on hand to provide local-wide updates and answer your questions.

Then, let’s celebrate!

So mark your calendars and come discuss what’s important to the Guild, your colleagues and our industry!
