Description

All of us at the Knight-Mozilla OpenNews project would love if you'd join us after conference sessions wrap up on Friday at Freeside Atlanta, Atlanta's 6,000-square-foot makerspace.

The makers and hackers at Freeside have generously offered to share their space and expertise with us. There will be demos of 3-D printing, laser cutting, fun with liquid nitrogen, and much more. Bring your computer and hack on stuff, or just check out the demos. It is going to be awesome.

After you've had all the hands-on making fun you can handle, we're sitting down for some deep-south BBQ, local beer, and a movie.

Please note: The space is a short cab ride or Fitbit-friendly walk from the conference venue. Do check Freeside's detailed directions before heading over.
