Description

If you want your stories to hit the headlines across Europe and beyond then working with international news agencies is essential.

But how do news agencies work and what are they looking for? How can NGO communicators ensure that their stories and perspectives get coverage?

News and Booze is pleased to announce that Alex Pigman, Brussels correspondent for Agence France Presse (AFP), will answer these questions at our November event.

Alex covers the EU and the economy for AFP. He is a former executive producer at news channel France 24 and has worked for the New York Times and the Chicago Tribune. Alex also worked extensively in the media sector, at MTV networks, Miramax Films as well as an advertising executive working on major accounts. He has taught at Sciences Po journalism school in Paris.
