Revitalize your Business Development Strategy
At our May meeting, our format will be different, one which will encourage interaction and your participation. Our guest will be Rei Tanaka, who you may remember from his Harlequin presentation 5 years ago.
About Rei Tanaka
Rei has combined 25 years as a business building, senior operating executive, chief marketing & sales officer and corporate entrepreneur, with 15+ years as a general management and strategic marketing consultant. He has specialized in the development, marketing and sale of publishing and entertainment related, intellectual property and its expansion into new media. He was a key contributor to making each of his employers the North American and Japanese market leader. He has been the designated “go to” person, relationship marketer and problem solver
He has a proven track record in profit-turnarounds, accelerating revenue and market share growth. His hallmark has been revitalizing declining performance, new product development and transforming creatively-oriented corporate cultures to becoming market-driven juggernauts. He has turned brands into market winners by creating unique value propositions and pre-emptive competitive positionings. He pioneered the synergy of social, cause-related promotions as an integral part of corporate marketing strategy by ensuring mutual, win-win benefits.
His consulting expertise includes creating low cost, execution-oriented marketing & sales strategies, new business development and new business start-ups. His mission in life is “to help individuals and organizations to be the best that they can be”. He espouses the samurai code of integrity, honesty, honour and loyalty.
Born from the feeling of collaboration and connection found at events such as BarCamp and tech conferences, coworking is the social interaction of independent entrepreneurs, consultants, freelancers, developers, and writers, an effort to get them out of their homes, cafes, or libraries and into a creative and productive space. Camaraderie is a shared office space for these individuals, where they can work independently in a social way.
Rachel and Wayne cofounded Camaraderie, a coworking facility in downtown Toronto. Independent business owners themselves, they formed a community of like-minded people and opened a space downtown, offering reasonable monthly rates in a comfortable space.
