ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS - NEWIN Institute - Virtual Incubator Program

NEWIN Institute, the 501(c)(3) Training and Education arm of the New England Water Innovation Network (NEWIN Inc) is exicted to accept applications from the regions water-innovators to participate in the first cohort of its Virtual Incubator Program.

NEWIN has secured federal funding to support the design and delivery of a robust, intensive innovator training program. Stage One of this program will focus on supporting scientists and engineers as they develop the skills neccessary to quantitatively and qualitatively assess, analysize and prioritize "Star Markets" aligned with th innovators fundamental scientific or technological research.

NEWIN's Water Innovation Virtual Incubator Programs are built upon a backbone of Training, Education and Mentorship.Our Business and Innovaiton Support is broken into five stages: Market Driven Research, Research to Innovation, Innovation to Market, Market to Scale and Scale to Incumbent. This program titled "Innovation to Market" is tailored to the needs of the Proto-Ventures and Early-Stage Start-Ups.

Application is NOW OPEN for postgraduate and postdoctoral students to idenitfy interest in particpating in NEWIN's Water Innovation Virtual Incubator Program. Applications for Stage 1 Cohort will be open through January 15th.

NEWIN is accepting proto-venture and early-stage start-up applicants working in the following industry applications:

  • Smart Water - IOT, Sensor, SaaS and Cyber Security
  • Nitrogen Removal Technologies
  • Recycling & Reuse Technologies

Your Submission

Please use this registration link to submit a 300 word abstract for review. Make sure to idenitfy which of the three tracks your innovation is applied to and name the members of your team.
