Can children and minors under 18years of age attend?

Yes, however anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and may not be left unattended at the training.

Where can I park at the Newark Senior Center?

There is a parking lot in front of the Senior Center with free parking.

Where can I park at Union City CERT building events?

There is limited parking next to the firehouse, but do not block the gate. Only authorized vehicles may park inside the yard inside the gate. There is overflow parking next door at the cabinet company.

This training provides individuals with the basic skills to respond to hazardous materials incidents, including assesing risk, be familar with protective equipment and defensive actions to take for you and your family. Also learn about Zonehave Aware and how to identify what zone your family is in and what to do if you receive an alert about your zone.
