A regional municipal forum established to allow personnel from individual municipalities to meet and share their experiences in applying trenchless technologies to underground utility problems. It also allows them to cooperate on essential activities related to trenchless technology that are difficult, time consuming and expensive to undertake individually.
An open session with industry participants is held in the morning. Typically 4-6 presentations are scheduled to provide information about current issues relevant for the trenchless technology community, new developments, methods and technologies on the market, etc. Details and lessons learned from case studies are often presented.
The discussions are closed to outside participation and the municipalities are free to exchange candid assessments of their experiences with trenchless technologies, contracting practices, program impacts, etc.

New York City operates two large Municipal parking lots less than a 1/2 mile away from DDC. One lot is located at Court Square, one block away from where the free IDCNY shuttle bus stops. To take the shuttle bus, wait by the top of the escalator at the entrance to the subway station at the base of the Citicorp building. The other is a park and ride lot at Queens Plaza, from which you can walk to DDC. For information about the Municipal lots, visit DOT's Web site. There are also a limited number of 12-hour parking meter street spaces nearby. Edison Parkfast operates one parking lot in the immediate vicinity of the building. For information about rates and availability, call (888) 727-5327. LaGuardia Commuter Parking also operates a parking lot less than a block away from DDC. For information about rates and availability call (718) 707-0403. Edison Parkfast and LaGuardia Commuter Parking are privately owned and operated. Please note that parking space near DDC is limited, and taking public transportation is strongly encouraged.

The Trenchless Technology Center (TTC) is a University/Industry/Government cooperative research center located on the campus of Louisiana Tech University in northeast Louisiana. TTC was established in 1991 to promote research, development, and technology transfer, focusing on education about the availability and capability of trenchless methods for underground infrastructure problems. Our mission is to advance trenchless technology by serving as an independent source of knowledge, research and education.
The Municipal Users' Forum Program for trenchless technology was in initiated in 1996 as an effort to link municipalities and public works agencies together to share information on the application of trenchless technologies to underground utility installation and repair.
