New York Times Magazine Climate Change Issue - Discussion & Reception

Monday, September 10, 5:30 p.m.

Reception: 7-8 p.m. with appetizers

We are honored to host the two journalists behind The New York Times Magazine climate issue, which was published in August. Writer Nathaniel Rich investigates how close we came to solving the climate challenge in the 1980s, why that effort failed, and what the failure says about the climate issues we face today. The magazine also includes an aerial photo and video essay on climate-change impacts across the globe by photographer George Steinmetz. The project was made possible with the support of the Pulitzer Center.

Please join us on Monday, September 10 at 5:30pm for presentations by Nathaniel and George followed by a panel discussion with the Pulitzer Center’s Executive Director, Jon Sawyer, and moderated by Dr. Anthony Leiserowitz, Director of the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication.
