Advanced registration is required to attend the performances. Capacity permitting, walk-ins may be accommodated according to the check-in schedule below.
We are thrilled to present four ticketed performances of The Nutcracker on December 2-4 by the acclaimed dance company, New York Theatre Ballet.
The one-hour version of the beloved holiday ballet performed to Tchaikovsky’s cherished score is set Art Nouveau-style circa 1907 with choreography by Keith Michael.
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:
Friday, December 2 at 7:00 PM
Saturday, December 3 at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM
Sunday, December 4 at 1:00 PM
PRE-PERFORMANCE MINI BALLET CLASSES:
Take a spin with New York Theatre Ballet School! Bring your little ones to The Nutcracker and join us for a pre-performance mini ballet class in the Winter Garden to inspire your child with the joy of dance. Learn basic movements and then try to spot them on stage!
- Classes are ten minutes each and begin two hours before the performance start. Open to ages 5-8 with no previous experience or special attire required.
- Classes will be located on the performance circle in the Winter Garden.
- Admission is first-come, first-served.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- As a reminder, advanced registration is required to attend the performances.
- Tickets are limited. You may only register for one performance.
- You must check in with your full party. Partial parties will not be admitted.
1:00 PM PERFORMANCES:
- Check in is located at 230 Vesey Street between Theory and Michael Kors.
- 12:00 PM: Check in opens
- 12:30 PM: To guarantee admission with a reserved ticket, attendees must check in by 12:30 PM
- The seating area will be closed once capacity is reached.
7:00 PM PERFORMANCES:
- Check in is located at 230 Vesey Street between Theory and Michael Kors.
- 6:00 PM: Check in opens
- 6:30 PM: To guarantee admission with a reserved ticket, attendees must check in by 6:30 PM
- The seating area will be closed once capacity is reached.
SEATING:
- Ticketed seating is first-come, first-served with advanced registration.
- Attendees will not be admitted to their seats until check-in has opened.
- Attendees will either be seated in provided chairs or on the Winter Garden stairs. A ticket does not guarantee a chair.
- Should an attendee require ADA seating, please contact brookfieldplaceticketing@gmail.com. ADA seating will not be released to guests without ADA needs.
- ADA seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
STROLLER PARKING:
There are two self-serve stroller parking locations near Salvatore Ferragamo and Le District.
- Stroller Parking areas are NOT viewing areas, and designated for stroller storage only.
- Children may not be left unattended in a stroller.
